CES is here this season and comes with some exciting launches. Samsung announces tons of monitors and Galaxy S21 FE at the event. We now have also got some upgraded Chromebooks coming from Acer as well. Yes, Acer has now launched three new Chromebooks with Acer Chromebook 314, Acer Chromebook 315 & Acer Spin 513 in the US.
Acer Chromebook Spin 513:
The new Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is nothing but a 2-in-1 Convertable Chromebook from Acer. It comes with a durable Aluminium case and is super light in weight. The laptop sports 13.5 inches FHD IPS display with a 3:2 aspect ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Kompanio 1380 octa-core SoC & comes with 10 hours of battery life.
The Acer Chromebook Spin 513 comes with a backlit keyboard, a USB Type-C port, upward-firing speakers with DTS Audio, and Wi-Fi 6. It also gets MIL-STD810H certified.
Acer Chromebook 315:
The next is the cheaper Acer Chromebook 315 which comes with a larger 15.6 inches IPS FHD display with an anti-glare coating. There is also on touch-screen variant of the laptop too. The laptop features a large keyboard with a numeric keypad even though it has a compact design.
The connectivity option includes DTS Audio, Wi-Fi 6, a microSD card reader, and dual USB Type-C ports. The OceanGlass touchpad provides responsive tactile feedback while being eco-friendly. The company claims that Acer Chromebook 315 can last for 10 hours on a single charge. It is powered by the latest Intel processor.
Acer Chromebook 314:
Lastly, Acer also introduces a much more compact version of Chromebook with Acer Chromebook 314. The new laptop comes with smaller 14 inches IPS FHD display with an anti-glare coating. It comes with the latest Intel processor. The connectivity option includes DTS Audio, Wi-Fi 6, a microSD card reader, and dual USB Type-C ports. It also gets a flare-reducing webcam, dual microphones, OceanGlass touchpad & MIL-STD810H certified.
Pricing:
Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is a convertible laptop that starts at $599. The laptop will be available in North America in June 2022 and in Europe in April 2022. The Chromebook 315 and Chromebook 314 will be available in North America in January and June 2022, respectively. In EMEA, you’ll be able to purchase the former in late Q1 2022, whereas the latter will be available in April 2022.
