In the past, we already got to know that Xiaomi will announce the new flagship Xiaomi 12 Ultra by Q1 of 2022.
Now one of the popular Chinese tipsters Digital Chat Station has leaked the launch timeline along with features of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. As per the post on Weibo, the tipster reveals that Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be launching right after the Chinese Spring Festival. So we can expect the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra will make its global debut in China. After the Chinese Spring Festival which is going to start on Feb 1.
We can expect the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra might launch somewhere by mid-Feb 2022. Further, the tipster also revealed that Xiaomi 12 Ultra with codename L1 comes with major camera upgrades. Yes, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature a new periscope super-telephoto lens. Previous leaks also revealed that Xiaomi 12 Ultra might use Leica-powered cameras on the back.
Anyway, more details will be out in the coming weeks. The new Xiaomi 12 Ultra will again ship with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
