Looks like Xiaomi might bring the recently launched flagship lineup aka Xiaomi 12 series to India next year. In the past, we saw Xiaomi announcing three new flagships with Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X & Xiaomi 12 Pro in China. Now there are new leaks revealing the details about the Indian launch and availability.
As per the source, Xiaomi is planning to launch the new Xiaomi 12X aka the cheapest among Xiaomi 12 series in India. The tipster also revealed the storage & color variants of the new Xiaomi 12X. The new Xiaomi 12X will be available in three colors with Gray, Blue & Purple.
It will arrive in two storage options with 8GB+128GB & 8GB+256GB. The source didn’t reveal the exact launch timeline nor the pricing details of the Xiaomi 12X. But going through the Chinese pricing we can expect the device could cost anywhere between Rs.40,000/- in India.
Xiaomi 12X:
The new Xiaomi 12X comes with 6.28 inches FHD+ AMOLED curved display with a center punch-hole. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate & 12-Bit color support. The device is powered by SD870 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128G/256GB storage. It measures 8.16mm thick & weighs 176g.
The device comes with a 20MP Samsung S5K3T2 selfie shooter on the front. It features triple rear cameras with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS coupled with a 13MP OmniVision OV13B ultra-wide & 5MP telephoto lens with LED flash. The device comes with a premium 6-series aluminum alloy frame, X-linear motor support along Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top. It also features stereo speakers with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi 12X packs a 4500 mAh battery with a 67W fast wired charging. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port along with X-axis linear motor. It also gets stereo speakers support. It runs on MIUI 13 with Android 12 OS out of the box.
