Looks like we will see many flagship launches happening later next year in India. In the past, we saw leaks revealing that Motorola might bring the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC-powered Edge 30 Pro to India soon. Now we have a new report revealing the Indian launch time lime for the new Moto Edge X30.
As per the source, Motorola is considering bringing the new Moto Edge X30 to India pretty soon. The Moto Edge X30 is all set to make its Indian debut by later Jan or early Feb 2022. This is not the only device launching during that time we also got the iQOO 9 series too launch during that timeline.
We have to wait and watch at what price tag does the new Moto Edge X30 land in India. As we also got three new flagships too lined for Indian launch with Realme GT2 series, Xiaomi 12 series & iQOO 9 series.

The Motorola Edge X30 looks similar to any other Motorola device in the past with a center punch-hole notch and triple rear cameras. It measures 8.49mm thick and weighs around 194g. The new Motorola Edge X30 features 6.7 inches FHD+ OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It also comes with HDR10+, 10 bit color & DCI-P3 color space with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The new Motorola Edge X30 is the first phone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage space. The device comes with a 50MP main OV50A40 sensor with f/1.88 aperture & OIS coupled with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1SQ03 118-degrees ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Lastly, there is a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.
The new Motorola Edge X30 features a whopping 60MP OV60A40 selfie camera with f/2.2 and 4K video recording support. Do note that the Special Edition too features the same selfie camera but it is hidden under the display. Sadly, the new Motorola Edge X30 still features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner with IP52 certification. It also comes with Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G NSA, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.2, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Frequency GPS, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack & NFC. All this is backed by a larger 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
