Further, the company also revealed the major highlights of the new MIUI 13 update. As per the post, the company is introducing three new features with MIUI 13 update. For three core scenarios: processor scheduling, memory management, and inter-processor communication, atomic memory, and liquid storage are emphasized.
- Using focused computing, processes can be prioritized according to what the current user perceives as most important and unimportant processes are suppressed.
- As the name implies, it splits application memory, prioritizes the end of unimportant tasks, and compresses memory usage.
- As liquid storage is sensitive to fragmentation, it greatly improves fragmentation efficiency, keeping the phone in like-new condition for a very long time.
Lastly, the new MIUI 13 will also enhance faster app opening times when compared with MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version. As per the company, MIUI 13 app opening times have been increased by 15-20% for third-party apps when compared with predecessors. Further, system application smoothness is increased by 20-26%.
MIUI 13 adopts focus computing 2.0, which not only detects core scenes such as full-screen gestures. But also allows computing resources toward core system apps and core third-party applications, improving the smoothness of the application.
Additionally, liquid storage is also optimized for the latest platforms, and atomic memory is also as good as new after 36 months of continuous operation; with less than 5% degradation in both reading and writing performance.
