Looks like we got another major leak revealing the specs of the affordable flagship Xiaomi 12. In the past, we already got a massive leak revealing the specs of the Xiaomi 12 & Xiaomi 12X. Now we have an updated leak coming from China that reveals the detailed spec of Xiaomi 12 again.
Xiaomi 12:
As per the source, Xiaomi 12 comes with a smaller 6.28 inches center punch-hole display on the front. It gets quad-curved edges with slimmer bezels surrounding the display. On the back, we got triple rear cameras which look similar to Oppo Reno6 series-like module. Further, we can notice the mention of 50MP on the camera module.
It measures 69.9mm diagonally & weighs 180g. The Xiaomi 12 sports a smaller 6.28 inches FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets 12-bit colors, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 1500-nits brightness.
The Xiaomi 12 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The Xiaomi 12 will come with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Xiaomi 12 features a 50MP f/1.9 aperture main sensor with OIS support. It comes with 13MP ultra-wide sensor with a 123-degrees FOV along with a 32MP telephoto lens with OIS & 3x optical, 10x hybrid & 30x digital zoom.
The official teaser already revealed that Xiaomi 12 will feature a 32MP selfie shooter. During the process of pixel-level skin rejuvenation, a generative adversarial network (GAN) reconstructs the skin’s details on a pixel-by-pixel basis, giving the skin a fresh and youthful appearance.
The Xiaomi 12 packs a 4500 mAh Cobalt Oxide battery with 67W fast wired & 30W wireless charging support. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 4G LTE & 5G support, NFC, IR blaster, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port along with X-axis linear motor. It also gets stereo speakers powered by the Harmon Kardon.
Xiaomi 12 Pro:
Lastly, Xiaomi’s latest official teaser reveals the camera details of the top-end Xiaomi 12 Pro. Looks like Xiaomi will be the first company to use a 50MP Sony IMX707 primary camera on the Xiaomi 12 Pro. The Sony IMX707 sensor comes with a 1/1.28-inch sensor size, 1.22μm pixel size, and 2.44um fusion large pixels.
Further, there are few reports suggesting that the performance of the Sony IMX707 is almost similar to its predecessor aka IMX700. So probably Sony has just changed the name and launched a new sensor this year. This sensor will help Xiaomi 12 Pro to capture more light during low-light photography.
