In the past, we saw reports about Google had already begun working on the next iteration of Android with Android 13. With Google announcing the Android 12 & 12L in Sept 2021 with just 3 months of its debut. We now have leaks popping out about the new Android 13 OS.

As per the source, they have got the early pre-build of the new Android 13 aka Trimasu which revealed the features. The source confirmed that the leaked data is completely real and might launch later next year.

App Language:

Google introduced to change the language option pretty long back but this use to completely change the entire system setting. Yes, the language use to apply to all the apps and settings once changed. Now that feature has got an update as Google will now allow setting a particular app language of your choice.

With Android 13 one can set a different language for particular apps without changing the system language. Further, app notifications will also get runtime permission on Android 13. After the addition of the Privacy option on Android 12 which included Camera and Location now with Android 13, there will be a third option with an App notification.

So Google is helping out users to stop getting useless app notifications with this feature.

Lock Screen:

Android 12 got some changes to the lock screen recently which got a new visual effect. Also as notifications arrive, the lock screen clock changes from a double-line layout to a single-line layout.

Now with Android 13, you can completely disable the lock screen animation also the lock screen clock should remain double-lined regardless of notifications.

The Android Resource Economy

Further, Android 13 will also introduce a new feature called The Android Resource Economy or TARE. As the name suggests the TARE is nothing but a new energy management feature for apps.

According to the system, apps are granted “Android Resource Credits” based on the battery level and other factors. After receiving these credits, these apps can perform tasks. Basically, Android 13 limits the amount of time that apps can be used by implementing a virtual economy that takes into account battery life, among other factors. However, it is unclear whether apps can earn credits faster by meeting criteria established by Android 13.
