Google is planning to introduce its very first smartwatch under the Pixel branding next. We even got the leaks revealing some of the features of the Pixel Watch. We also got to know that Codenamed Rohan is none other than Pixel Watch. Now the same source has revealed some more information about the new Pixel Watch.
As per the source, Google is using a tag called “PIXEL_EXPERIENCE” on the upcoming Pixel Watch. This is not the first time Google using such a tag in the past we had spotted a similar tag with the Pixel 6 series “PIXEL_EXPERIENCE_2021” & Pixel 5a “PIXEL_EXPERIENCE_2020_MIDYEAR”. These tags stand for Pixel Exclusive features so what feature does the new Pixel Watch get?
As per the latest version of Google App they have spotted a tag called “PIXEL_EXPERIENCE_WATCH,” which confirms that the upcoming smartwatch will come under Pixel branding. It also gets some additional exclusive features that will not be available to any other WearOS device for some time.
The source expects that Pixel Watch might come with Google Assistant Integration this year. The unique feature about this is that now Pixel Watch will come with Google Assistant built directly into the watch and will not rely on Google data centers. So technically speaking there is no need for the internet to process the data required for Google Assistant.
We also got an image showing how does the Google Assistant looks on a smartwatch. From the image, we can see there are two buttons one to wake the Google Assistant. Lastly, the source also confirmed that Pixel Watch is powered by an Exynos chipset. So we can expect the Pixel Watch might ship with same Exynos W920 SoC.
