Looks like we finally have another foldable device launched from Chinese OEM aka Oppo. After the foldable launched by Huawei, Xiaomi & Samsung we have the fourth brand entering into the segment from Oppo. The new Oppo Find N is not only compact but also cheaper than the current-gen of Galaxy Z Fold3.
Design:
The new Oppo Find N comes with an almost similar design as Galaxy Z Fold3 with a foldable hinge & secondary outer display. The new Oppo Find N comes with its proprietary hinge called the Flexion Hinge. This hinge has complex 136 components that help to fold the display with almost 80% less noticeable. Further, the hinge also eliminates the wedge shape gap once folded which we saw in many foldable flagships in the past.
The hinge also gets a mode called FlexForm Mode that allows displaying to stand anywhere between 50-degrees to 120-degrees. Further, the new Oppo Find N comes with Samsung’s Flexion Ultra-Thin Glass which is just 0.03mm thin for the foldable display. It is also strong with no crease even after 200,000 foldings.
Specs:
The new Oppo Find N sports a massive 7.1 inches FHD+ (1,792 x 1,920p) foldable punch-hole internal LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Further, there are a smaller 5.49 inches outer punch-hole display with an 18:9 aspect ratio & resolution of 1,972 x 988p. Sadly, the outer display is using a standard 60Hz refresh rate. There is Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on top for the internal display.
The Oppo Find N is powered by SD888 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The phone comes with gesture support like a two-finger swipe down allows to split-screen for multi-tasking or four fingers pinch making the full-screen app into floating window.
There is a total of five cameras three on the back and two selfie cameras one outer other for internal display. The Oppo Find N features 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor coupled with a 16MP ultra-wide Sony IMX481 sensor and 13MP Samsung S5K3M5 telephoto sensor. There is a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie shooter on both the inner well as outer display. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device measures 15.9mm thick and weighs 275g.
The Oppo Find N packs 4500 mAh battery with 33W Super VOOC charge support & 15W wireless charging support. It also gets 10W reverse wireless charging support. Sadly, the Oppo Find N still runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 12 on top.
The new Oppo Find N comes in three colors with Black, White & Purple color. The Oppo Find N costs 7699 Yuan (Rs.92,000/-) for 8GB+256GB & 8999 Yuan (Rs.1,07,600/-) for 12GB+512GB in China.
