With OnePlus launching the budget 5G phone under the Nord series in India this year with OnePlus Nord CE 5G. We saw many were not happy with this move as it was almost similar to the original Nord. Now we got the new report that OnePlus is already planning to work on the successor with OnePlus Nord 2 CE.
Way ahead of 2022 we got the new leak claiming that the OnePlus Nord 2 CE is on the way and will not launch anytime sooner. The report claims that OnePlus Nord 2 CE will land in India first by Jan or Feb 2022 which will replace the original. Further, the source adds that OnePlus Nord 2 CE will be now using a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC chipset this year.
So probably OnePlus is ditching the Snapdragon for MediaTek again this year for its new Nord series. The source also reported that OnePlus Nord CE 2 will sport the same 6.4 inches 90Hz refresh rate AMOLED punch-hole display on the front. There will be an addition to the storage version with massive 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Yet again the cameras on the OnePlus Nord 2 CE will remain the same as OnePlus Nord CE with 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth sensor. The battery is also the same with 4500 mAh but will bring support for 65W fast charging.
The report also claims that there will not have any major design changes with the OnePlus Nord 2 CE and still comes with a complete polycarbonate body and chassis. It will feature Corning Gorilla Glass on both sides. Lastly, the source expects OnePlus will price the OnePlus Nord 2 CE starting from Rs.24,000for the base and going up to Rs.28,000/- in India.
