Several Chinese brands, including Xiaomi, Realme, OPPO, iQOO, and OnePlus, announced they will be launching Snapdragon 8G1 devices in the near future. Nonetheless, Motorola has confirmed it will announce the Moto Edge X30 powered by Qualcomm’s latest chip at 7:30 PM on Dec. 9 in China.
In its upcoming launch event, Motorola is expected to unveil two flagship phones. In the first case, it is the Moto Edge X30, while in the second case, it is the rebranded Moto G200, which was announced in global markets last month. Moto Edge S30 is rumored to be the name assigned to the G200 that uses Snapdragon 888 Plus.
Details about the Edge X30 have yet to be released by Motorola. Chen Jin, Lenovo China’s head of the mobile division, recently revealed the smartphone has both front and rear Gorilla Glass panels. It comes with a new chipset, and it runs on the latest version of Lenovo’s mobile operating system, My UX 3.0.
