We first heard reports of Oppo launching tablets and laptops this year in November, but the year is almost up and the firm has yet to reveal any. And, while Oppo has not yet disclosed its plans for laptops and tablets, a photo of what appears to be an Oppo tablet (for the time being, let’s name it the Oppo Pad) has surfaced.
The photograph does not show much about the Oppo Pad, but we can see that its screen lacks a notch in the middle and a punch hole for the selfie camera on the right side. Although this does not definitely indicate it is on the opposite side, as the tablet is wrapped in a case to conceal its design, and the selfie camera might be situated on the top bezel.
Along with the image of the Oppo Pad, a few screenshots have surfaced revealing the tablet’s specifications. The Oppo Pad is powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC and is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The slate runs ColorOS 12, which is based on Android 11, and features a 120Hz refresh rate and a screen that measures 11 inches, according to trustworthy source Digital Chat Station “diagonally and has a resolution of 2,560×1,600 pixels.
Additionally, the tipster confirmed the Snapdragon 870 and 120Hz refresh rate details. As well as the Oppo Pad’s 8,080 mAh battery.
While the Oppo Pad will be the company’s first tablet, it will not be the first from the BBK Electronics group. That distinction belongs to Oppo’s spinoff Realme, which introduced the Realme Pad a few months ago with a metal body and a 10.4-inch display “7-inch display, with a 7,100 mAh battery.
