Just four weeks after the Realme GT Neo2 was unveiled back in September, the company is back with a new model. The Realme GT Neo2T smartphone, developed in cooperation with streetwear and sports equipment firm Li-Ning, will be unveiled on October 19th.
Several reports have suggested that this is a new phone, and it will be powered by a Dimensity 1200 processor, a 6nm architecture with a somewhat stronger CPU than the Snapdragon 870 found in the Neo2.
Realme’s CMO has stated that their collaboration with Li Ning would “be a crossroads of new design processes,” according to a leak. As far as appearances go, we have no clue what it means, but it’s still a huge thing for Realme.
Li Ning was an Olympic gymnast in 1984, winning three gold medals. He’s currently the owner of a sports equipment business with endorsement deals with Shaquille O’Neal, Dwayne Wade, and Jimmy Butler, among others.
