The Poco M3’s replacement has been sighted, but it’s not the Poco M4. It has passed EEC, 3C, IMEI, and TENAA. Poco has filed for trademark and certification for the Poco M4 Pro 5G with model number 21091116AG, say Kacper Skrzypek and Abhishek Yadav.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G will, as stated, come with a 33W charger. According to Kacper Skrzypek, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, possibly from the company’s Dimensity lineup. This may disappoint some Poco fans.
While some sources claim the phone will be available globally, others claim it will only be available in India and Europe. So, that’s still up for debate. However, Poco’s track record suggests that the Poco M4 Pro 5G may launch in India. Poco would like to join the 5G device race that has been going on in India for some time now. But the Poco M4 Pro 5G is a mid-range phone.
Aside from the charger and processor manufacturer, nothing else is confirmed. However, sources claim the phone will have a 64-megapixel camera module instead of the 48-megapixel sensor found on most Poco mid-range phones. The phone will also have a 5000mAh battery and RAM and ROM configurations of 4GB with 64GB storage and 6GB with 128GB storage.
The phone is expected to ship with MIUI 12.5 instead of Android 12. But no details about a possible launch date are known yet. But we’ll keep an eye on it and update our readers and followers.
