The Moto E40 is anticipated to be the next generation in the Moto E series. A pricing range and important specifications of the phone have been leaked ahead of its debut.

The Motorola E40 renderings reveal a centered front camera punch hole, vertical triple cameras, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The back seems to be polycarbonate and is wavy to help grip. On top of the power button are a volume rocker and a third button that we think activates the Google Assistant.

Specs:

The Moto E40’s will sport a 6.53″ display. According to Nils Ahrensmerier of Mobilegeeks, the screen features HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Unisoc T700 is the same CPU used in the Moto G20, which was unveiled in April. The phone will include 4GB of RAM and 64GB of extendable storage. We anticipate more combinations at launch.

The Moto E40 will feature a 48MP main rear camera and two 2MP front cameras. They’re probably macro and depth sensors. The front camera is 8MP, good for video calls and selfies.

The phone has a 5000mAh battery that charges at 10W. While it may be sluggish in 2021, the large battery should allow for an overnight recharge. The Moto E40 comes with Android 11 and Motorola’s My UX skin. Nils claims the phone will cost between €160 and €170 (Rs.13,900 – Rs.17,500/-).
