Google has officially released the final beta last week which came with some major improvement. Now ahead of the official announcement, we got an internal document leaked that reveals the Stable Android 12 release date.
According to XDA Developers, Google Pixel phones will get the official Android 12 upgrade on October 4. Google published the fifth and final Android 12 beta a few weeks ago, hinting that the official rollout will be in a few weeks.
According to an internal Google document posted by XDA’s Mishaal Rahman, the Mountain View company will publish the source code for its latest operating system on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) Gerrit on October 4, and based on history, Pixel phones should receive the Android 12 stable update on the same day.
For reference, Android 11 will be released on September 8, 2020. Because Android 12 is the most significant system change in years, it seems to be taking longer. According to previous years, flagship phones from OnePlus, Oppo, and Xiaomi may come shortly after.
Owners of premium Samsung phones will most likely have to wait until December for Android 12. Since the firm has yet to launch its beta program. The first beta will be released later this month.
The Pixel 6 is not mentioned in today’s Android 12 rumor. If the information is correct, we won’t see the updated range until October 4. According to rumors, the reveal will take place on October 19th.
