OnePlus recently merged with OPPO. It was therefore expected that changes would occur. ColorOS is already in use at the company. In India, the brand that was known for flagship killer phones is rumored to have entered the budget phone market.
In the near future, OnePlus is said to release sub-20k smartphones in India, as per tipster Yogesh Brar. It is estimated that these devices will hit the market in the fourth quarter or second quarter of 2022. This company will likely brand its upcoming affordable handsets with ‘Nord’.
Some regions already offer OnePlus budget phones. In India, however, this will be the first time the brand has launched a premium smartphone there, a market where it has long led the premium smartphone category.
Budgets in India are too competitive, unlike the premium category. In some cases, there are also players like Redmi, Realme, and even Samsung.
Great hardware is available at a reasonable price from all of these brands. Except for Samsung, the software seems to be a major problem with these handsets.
