In India, Taiwan-based PC maker Acer unveiled its Swift X laptop. It’s the first laptop from Acer to be powered by Nvidia’s new RTX 30 series discrete graphics. It’s part of the Swift line of laptops. One of Acer’s slimmest laptops, the Swift range, is part of the Swift line. In addition to Ryzen processors, 2TB of SSD storage is included in the new Acer Swift X. According to the company, this laptop is a “high-performance ultraportable laptop” capable of rendering 4K videos and creating spreadsheets.

Acer Swift X features AMD’s Ryzen 5000 processor, which is based on Zen 3 architecture. As part of this package, you also receive an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti discrete graphics card with up to 16GB of RAM. The device offers up to 2TB of storage and a 59Wh battery. On a single charge, the battery is said to provide up to 15 hours of power. Despite its lightweight design, it is 17.9 mm thick and weighs 1.39kg. High-speed charging is also supported.
In addition, it includes a 14-inch FHD IPS display with a screen-to-body ratio of 85.73 percent and a brightness rating of 300 nits. With Acer Swift X, Windows Hello-enabled fingerprint sensors are built-in. Additionally, the fingerprint scanner will make the laptop compatible with Windows 11, as the laptop is built with an in-built TPM chip. This will allow for better video calls since the technology is based on artificial intelligence (AI). In addition to reducing blue light from the screen, the Acer BlueLightShield software makes it easier to work with for longer periods of time.
Another important feature is the Swift X’s 59-blade cooling fan. The heat pipes are also D6 and 0.3mm, which enhance cooling. With an inclined plane on the top of the fan, the stereo ring efficiently takes in more air and delivers enhanced airflow up to 20%, according to the company’s press release.
