Thanks to multiple models from different brands, India’s smart television market has become more competitive than ever. The teaser trailers for Acer’s Android TV have already gone live, though the company’s computers are best known for their consumer electronics.
In addition to 32-inch and 70-inch models, Acer will offer smart televisions in a range of sizes. Amazon India and Flipkart tease the TV’s key features that include 4K UHD resolution, HDR10+ and HLG, a frameless design, and wide viewing angles.
A quad-core 64-bit processor and 2GB RAM as well as 16GB internal storage are included in the package. As for the audio, it supports Dolby audio and Pure Sound 2 with 24W speakers. In addition, it contains an RJ-45 port, 3 HDMI ARC ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports. There is also a 3.5mm jack, an antenna, and an AV in port.
Bangalore-based Indkal Technologies will license Acer’s smart televisions. In the coming weeks, we’ll learn more about the pricing and other details.
