Since its launch, OnePlus Buds Pro has mostly received positive reviews. The Buds Pro will most likely come out on top if you’re looking for premium earbuds that won’t break the bank.
OnePlus is charging Rs.9999/- for the earbuds, which is an acceptable price point. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to afford this. One leak has revealed that OnePlus is working on earbuds that aren’t as expensive as the Buds Pro.
It comes from All About Samsung’s Max Jambor, known for his leaks about OnePlus. A tweet earlier today stated that the manufacturer is working on a pair of headphones with active noise cancellation (ANC). “This will be like a lite version of the Bud Pro,” he says.
There is no word on when the earbuds will be announced, but a possible release before this year’s end cannot be ruled out. As for the price, we suspect it will be somewhere in the range between the OnePlus Buds and OnePlus Buds Pro, so it might be priced around $99 to compete with the Pixel Buds A series and Node ear (1).
There is no successor yet to OnePlus’s cheapest earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Z. Are these new earbuds the successor to the Buds Z? It is too early to tell.
