Reliance announced Jio Phone Next during its 44th annual general meeting in June. Google has partnered with it for the first time. India will be able to purchase the handset starting on September 10th.
The phone will go on pre-order in India next week, 91mobiles exclusively learned from retail sources ahead of the sale. Accordingly, the company has begun to talk with its retail partners. The JioPhone Next is said to sport a 5.5-inch HD+ display with thick bezels above and below the screen, according to leaked specifications. Qualcomm’s 215 chipset powers it, along with 2GB or 3GB of RAM and up to 32GB of storage that can be expanded.
