Vivo X70 Pro

According to reports, Vivo is preparing to release its latest flagship phones in the market, expected to include a trio of models – the X70, Pro, and Pro+.

Design:

Vivo X70 Pro+ features a curved screen, ultraslim bezels and a selfie camera hole cutout at the centre of the screen. A fingerprint sensor may be built into the display to ensure security.

An enormous module covers about a third of the back panel of the phone. Among its features are quad-camera sensors, a laser autofocus unit, an LED flash, and Zeiss optics. Both the volume rocker and power button can be found on the right side.

A USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, a microphone, and a SIM card tray are located at the bottom. In terms of size, the device measures 164.8 x 75.5 x 9mm, while its body thickness is 11.3mm around the camera bump.

It is reported that the top-end model of the lineup – the Vivo X70 Pro+ is now listed on Google Play Console. There are several key details revealed on the listing related to the upcoming phone.

Vivo’s upcoming X70 Pro+ mobile phone will feature a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It will have a curved screen with an opening cut out at the top for the front-facing camera.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 series chipset will power the device. We will have to wait and see whether it’s the new Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G SoC or the standard SD888. The listing also reveals Adreno 660 GPU and 8GB of RAM, but the device is expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM.

With the FunTouch OS 11 skin on top, the smartphone will run the Android 11 OS out-of-the-box, while in China the device will run on OriginOS.

The Vivo X70 Pro+ is rumoured to feature a 4,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. In addition to Zeiss lenses, the smartphone will feature a quad-camera setup. However, the configuration of the camera is still unknown.

It’s unclear when Vivo will launch these new flagship smartphones, but speculation is that it may happen during the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) starting on 19th September.
