The iQOO 8 and 8 Pro flagship phones were released earlier this month in China by iQOO. IQOO phones with model numbers I2019 and I2016 have been spotted in the IMEI database in advance of the launch event. When it was first reported, it was speculated that it might be an Indian version of the iQOO 8. An Indian tipster has claimed that the company will launch the iQOO 8 as early as next month in India.
This tipster expects that the iQOO 8 will arrive in the country in September. By the middle of the month, the phone will be official. There is no mention of whether the iQOO 8 Pro will be released with the iQOO 8.

iQOO 8 Pro 5G

The new iQOO 8 & iQOO 8 Pro comes with a premium glass back with glossy texture to provide a better grip. It features Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the back for protection. The device also comes with Monster Touch Buttons uses two pressure-sensitive buttons which helps one to quick multi-finger operations in the game. It also features 4D Vibration support for the true gaming experience.

The new iQOO 8 series comes with a Vapor Chamber that dissipates heat from an area of up to 4096 mm2 that reduces the surface temperature by 140%. The new iQOO 8 weighs about 199 grams and measures 8.9 mm thick. The iQOO 8 Pro measures 9.19 mm thick and weighs 202g.

The new iQOO 8 sports 6.62 inches FHD+ 20:3 aspect ratio flat Super AMOLED Samsung E3 display and HDR10+ support. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support. The iQOO 8 is powered by the SD888 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.

The iQOO 8 Pro sports 6.78 inches QHD+ Samsung E5 curved Super AMOLED with HDR10+ & 10-bit colour support. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate support. The iQOO 8 Pro comes with the SD888+ SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.

Cameras:

The new iQOO 8 features quad-rear cameras with a 48MP Sony IMX589 sensor having an aperture of f/1.79 with EIS, 13MP 120-degrees Ultra-Wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.2, and 13MP portrait sensor with an aperture of f/2.46, OIS, 2X optical zoom, 20x digital zoom with LED flash.

The iQOO 8 Pro comes with a powerful 50MP Sony IMX766V main sensor coupled with a 48MP Sony IMX589 ultra-wide sensor & 16MP portrait sensor with an aperture of f/2.46, 2.5X optical zoom, OIS, 20x digital zoom with LED flash. Both the devices do come with VIS aka 5 axis video stabilisation support.

There is a 16MP selfie shooter on both devices. The iQOO 8 series features an in-display fingerprint scanner with AK4377A Hi-Fi chip, & Hi-Res audio certification along with stereo speakers. The iQOO 8 Pro 5G also gets an Ultrasonic In-display fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity:

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G, A-GPS, GLONASS, Wifi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port. The new iQOO 8 packs a 4350 mAh & iQOO 8 Pro with 4500 mAh battery with whopping 120W ultra-fast flash charging. The iQOO 8 Pro 5G also supports 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. It runs on Android 11 with Origin OS on top.
