The T-variant of Xiaomi’s flagship phones is released in the second half, just like OnePlus does. The Mi 11T series has been rumoured to be available this year as well. We have now learned when the launch is scheduled to take place.
We have learned that Xiaomi is scheduled to announce the Mi 11T on September 23 during a global launch event. Last year the Mi 10T was announced on September 30; there isn’t much time between the two releases. The date seems to be pretty certain but there’s always the possibility of unforeseen circumstances leading to a change.
Following the global launch, individual announcements should be made in countries such as India, Indonesia, and Nigeria. We anticipate that the Mi 11T series will also be introduced in these markets where the Mi 10T series was announced. China may also launch them under different names.
Specs have revealed that the Mi 11T will have a 120Hz display, which is lower than the 144Hz of its predecessor. In contrast to last time, the display is now OLED, rather than LCD. The device is also said to have triple rear cameras with a resolution of 64MP and a MediaTek processor. Also, there will be a Mi 11T Pro, although its specs have not been announced yet.
