Realme recently launched its GT series of smartphones in India and its first laptop. Additionally, Realme launched its new tablet, the Realme Pad, at its online launch event. An executive has hinted that the upcoming tablet will feature an AMOLED display.
Francis Wong, the CMO of Realme India and Europe, shared a post on Twitter just before the online conference began, which included a link to a live stream on YouTube. An online poster commented on this, urging the company to increase the smartphone’s AMOLED screen size from 6.4 inches to 6.7 inches. As a response, the executive asked, “Want a bigger Amoled?”? Let’s wait for #realmeTablet. “That will be enough.”
In other words, from the online launch event, the only tablet that was teased had an AMOLED display, which is why I am assuming it is the Realme Pad. We do have some information from previous reports, but we don’t have any official word from the company yet. The tablet will have a screen size of 10.4 inches and be powered by a 7,100mAh battery.
Further, the tablet is expected to feature 6GB of memory and 64GB of storage. Furthermore, rumours suggest the tablet may be available in both WiFi-only and WiFi-plus-LTE variants. However, this is still unconfirmed so stay tuned for further details as soon as additional information becomes available.
