After the launch of the new Moto G50 5G in March this year the company is back with an upgraded model. Yes, Motorola is all set to bring the upgraded model of Moto G50 5G soon to the markets. The tipster has now got the first official renders along with the detailed specs of the upcoming Moto G50 5G.
Design:
As per the source, the upcoming new Moto G50 5G is codenamed Saipan which turns out to be the upgraded version of the original. Further, the new Moto G50 5G comes with slight design changes when compared with the original. The new Moto G50 5G still sport a waterdrop notch display on the front with thicker bezels.
On the back, the Moto G50 5G features an L-shaped triple rear camera module which is modified when compared with the original. The device will come with a USB Type-C port along with a 3.5 mm audio jack and speaker mesh on the bottom. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the right side of the device.
Specs:
The new Moto G50 will arrive with 6.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720*1600p. So probably the Moto G50 will ship with the same display as the Moto G9 but with higher 90Hz refresh rates. The Moto G50 will be powered by MediaTek Dimesnity 700 SoC coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The device ships with triple-rear cameras with a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, and a 2MP depth plus 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4. There is a 13MP (f/2.2) selfie camera on the waterdrop notch. It also got an IP52 rating making it dust and water repellant. It also gets a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity options include Dual Band Wifi, 5G, 4G LTE, FM Radio, Dual SIM support, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.0. The device packs a 4700 mAh battery with 15W fast charge support. It runs on Android 11 OS out of the box.
