Looks like we finally got the details for the upcoming flagship series from Samsung aka the new Galaxy S22 series. In the past, we got to know the display details of the new Galaxy S22 series which will again include three models. Later we also saw rumours about Samsung may not introduce the UDC feature to the Galaxy S22 series. We even got to know that Galaxy S22 series will be powered by the new Exynos 2200 SoC with AMD GPU.
Now we got a new and major leak that reveals the key specs of the much-awaited flagship Galaxy S22 series. As we all know that Samsung has already lost its market to Xiaomi Globally due to lack of interesting flagships. We even saw Galaxy S21 series aren’t performing well in many regions. Now the new leak might bring some interesting features to the upcoming Galaxy S22 series that might make the flagship much popular.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series:
As per the source, the new Galaxy S22 series will sport an LTPS/LTPO AMOLED display on three models next year. The Galaxy S22 will sport 6.06 inches LTPS FHD+ display whereas the Galaxy S22+ with 6.55 inches LTPS AMOLED display. The top-end Galaxy S22 Ultra will sport 6.81 inches same QHD+ LTPO display from the Galaxy S21 Ultra. The source confirmed that Galaxy S22 series will look similar to the Galaxy S21 series.
The source further confirmed that Galaxy S22 series will not come with Under display camera next year. The Galaxy S22 & Galaxy S22+ will sport a 50MP main sensor coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto lens. The premium Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature a 108MP main sensor coupled with dual 12MP telephoto lens along with 12MP ultra-wide sensor & Laser AF.
Further, there is another sad news for those waiting for the AMD GPU powered Exynos 2200 SoC. As of now the source confirmed that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22 series with SD898 SoC in major markets globally. The Exynos 2200 SoC powered Galaxy S22 series will be limited to South Korea as of now. Lastly, the Galaxy S22 series will have the same RAM & Storage variants from Galaxy S21 series.
