Samsung has now announced a slightly different variant of the previously launched Galaxy A12 in India. Yes, Galaxy A12 with a different processor goes official in India now. Apart from the chipset, all other specs remain the same as the original. The new Galaxy A12 is currently available for purchase in India.

The Galaxy A12 looks exactly similar to the recently launched Galaxy A42 5G and also the budget Galaxy M12. The Galaxy A12 featuring a square camera module carrying quad-cameras with LED flash below it. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner located on the right. On the bottom, the device got a USB Type-C port with speaker mesh and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It weighs 205g and measures 8.9mm thick.
The new Galaxy A12 sports 6.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD Infinity-V display on the front. The notch carries an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0. On the back, the Galaxy A12 features quad rear cameras with a 48MP main shooter with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 along a dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 with LED flash.
The Galaxy A12 is powered by Exynos 850 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot. All this is packed with a 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support and runs on Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top. Further, the device also features a fingerprint scanner on the side.
The new Galaxy A12 pricing starts from Rs.13,999/- for 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB at Rs.16,499/- in India.
