Looks like ahead of the time we already got the leak for the 2022 flagship from Xiaomi aka the Mi 12 series. Earlier this year Xiaomi announced the Mi 11 series for Global and China. Now the same is gonna repeat for the upcoming flagship Mi 12 series as it is expected to land sometime in Dec this year.
As per the source, Xiaomi will be the first brand to use the latest LPDDR5X RAM on the upcoming Mi 12 series. Yes, the source revealed that the LPDDR5X RAM is two times faster data rates than the LPDDR4X RAM. Further, the source also confirmed that Mi 12 will be powered by the latest SD898 SoC.
With the latest LPDDR5X RAM support we can expect Qualcomm to introduce the same on the new SD898 SoC. Further, the SD898 is tipped to feature Cortex-X2, A710, and A510 CPU cores based on the latest ARMv9 architecture. Previous leaks also suggested that Mi 12 series will also feature a whopping 200MP main sensor along with 200W fast charging support.
