Xiaomi is expected to announce several products in August by the company, including the Mi MIX 4 and Mi CC11 Pro tablets. Many reports have revealed the specifications for the three Mi Pad 5 variants. Chinese tipster shares the key specifications for all three Mi Pad 5 to help you understand what you can expect from the Mi Pad 5 lineup.
According to new leaks, the first variant of this model will be a 5G ready model with Snapdragon 870 chip. It also features a 10.95-inch panel with 2K resolution (probably, 60Hz refresh rate), an 8720mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, and a 48 MP camera. It measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs 510 grams.
The Snapdragon 870 processor will be featured on the second variant. However, it will be Wi-Fi only. The leak claims that the second variant will include a 12MP camera instead of a 48 MP, 67W fast-charging model. It is said to have almost the same specs as the first variant. The M210581AC- and M210581C-certified models of China’s 3C regulator could be the first and second variants earlier this month.
The third model will come with an LCD panel that supports 2K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be powered with the Snapdragon 860 SoC, which will provide specs such as a 33W fast charger and a 12-megapixel cam. This could be a 21051182C Xiaomi device, which was recently approved and certified by the 3C authority.
The tipster also suggested a Snapdragon768G variant but did not share any details. It may debut as a Redmi smartphone. He mentioned that the company might launch a 12.9″ tablet powered by the Snapdragon888 chip (wi–fi only) next year.
