Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked Event is just a month away. However, leaks continue to pour in up until the launch date. The Galaxy Z Fold3 and the Galaxy Z Flip3 will be the stars of the event. And if you are curious about what camera sensors these devices will have, then you are in the right place.

Evan Blass, is a well-known leaker who has revealed the camera configurations for the two foldable phones. The leak shows that the new devices will have the exact same number of cameras and even the identical pixel counts as their predecessors. There is only one sensor on Galaxy Z Fold3.

According to the source, the Galaxy Z Flip3 would have two 12MP sensors on its back like the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The LED flash is also included in the renders. Samsung will also keep the front-facing camera at a mere 10MP.

We will have three 12MP sensors at the rear for the Galaxy Z Fold3, just like the Galaxy Z Fold2. The front-facing camera, which is on the cover display, will remain unchanged at 10MP. However, the 4MP sensor under the display camera will be kept! Many people will not be pleased with this, but we don’t expect to see many users taking selfies with the camera. We do recommend the better options: the 10MP cover camera or the rear camera.

Evan Blass confirmed that the displays of the two phones are identical, aside from their camera specs. The Galaxy Z Flip3 has a 1.9-inch screen and a 7-inch internal LCD, while the Galaxy Z Fold3 has a 6.2-inch display and a 7.6 inch internal display. The attached press render confirms the IPX8 rating of both foldable phones as was revealed in an earlier leak.

We know the Galaxy Z Fold3 supports stylus input. Samsung will now sell two S Pens to fit the foldable, the S Pen Pro Edition and the S Pen Fold Edition.
