HMD Global announced the XR20 as well as the Nokia 6310, and Nokia C30. The Nokia C30 is an Android smartphone featuring a big battery and a low price.
Nokia C30:
Let’s talk about the C30. Nokia’s new entry-level series of devices is the C-series. You shouldn’t expect record-breaking specs here. With a screen size of 6.82 inches and a battery capacity of 6,000 mAh, the Nokia C30 has become the “king” in the C-series.
The screen boasts HD+ resolution, a teardrop-shaped top-notch, and a significant bottom bezel big enough to accommodate the Nokia logo. A 13 MP main camera, with flash, and a 2MP depth sensor are located on the rear. For selfies, there is a 5MP snapper.
The Unisoc SC9863A chipset powers C30. It features an octa-core Cortex-A55 Cortex-A55 CPU clocked up to 1.6 GHz. There will be three RAM/storage options: 2/32GB, 3/32GB, and 3/64GB. Android 11 Go Edition runs the phone. This is Google’s simplified OS version for extremely low-cost devices. The Nokia C30 will cost EUR99.
It supports 4G, but no 5G. Also, it can be charged at 10W. It has a rear fingerprint sensor, and it supports camera-based face unlock. The device also has a micro USB charging port and a headphone jack that can be plugged into the device’s 3.5mm socket. It will receive two years of security updates (no mention is made about any Android version upgrades though).
Nokia 6310:
The new 6310 features a design that is similar to the original but with larger buttons and a larger screen. HMD hopes this will increase usability. The QVGA resolution screen is displayed on a curved panel measuring 2.8 inches.
The phone comes with a 1,150mAh rechargeable battery, 2G support, wireless FM radio, Series 30+ platform, and a micro USB connector for charging. It also includes a 3.5mm jack for headphones, internet connectivity, Snake functionality, and Torch functionality.
It’s powered with the Unisoc 6631F. It will retail at an average global price of EUR40.
