Microsoft is preparing a Surface Duo 2 to be released later in the year. New triple-camera technology will be featured in the dual-screen device, according to leaked images. Windows Central claims that these leaked images are real. They first surfaced in a YouTube clip last month. Microsoft is expected to launch its Surface Duo 2 device in September or October.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is rumored to feature a camera system. It is believed to have a standard lens, ultra-wide angle, and telephoto lens. According to leaked photos, there is a bump in the device’s rear like other flagship Android devices. Microsoft may have also moved the fingerprint reader to the Duo 2’s Power button and centered it on the right-hand Side.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 should have minor design changes. However, most of the significant changes will be in the internal specs and camera system. Rumors say that the Surface Duo 2 may include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon888 processor and 5G support. Microsoft may increase the size of each Surface Duo 2 display by slightly increasing its bezels. There will also be options for black or white color variants.
Microsoft seems to be sticking to separate screens on Surface Duo 2 and not opting for a truly folding screen like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3. Microsoft will continue to improve the software aspect of the Surface Duo 2. Android 11 has yet not been officially released to the Surface Duo 2. Surface Duo’s current state is that it is a buggy device. The screen turns off while in book mode and has issues with multitasking.
