Looks like Samsung is all set to dump some new 5G phones under the mid-range segment soon in the coming weeks. In the past, we got to know Samsung has scheduled Galaxy A22 5G launch event later today. Now ahead of the official launch we have spotted a budget 5G F-series aka Galaxy F42 5G phone hitting Geekbench.
According to the listing, the alleged Galaxy F42 5G is been now listed as SM-E426B which is running on Android 11 OS. The new SM-E426B aka Galaxy F42 5G is now powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM. There could be a lower 4GB RAM model too and might ship with 64GB/128GB storage options.
Apart from that, the device managed to score 559 under single and 1719 under multi-core tests. From the above listing, we can confirm that Galaxy F42 5G might turn out to be the rebranded Galaxy A22 5G which is launching today in India.
The only change we might find is with the name and pricing. We expect the Galaxy F42 5G might be priced a bit cheaper than the Galaxy A22 5G and will be exclusive to Flipkart.
