OnePlus finally announced the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G in India today. Yet again the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G will be exclusive to Amazon. It will go on sale from Aug 26 as part of the Prime Day Sale. It will go on open sale right from July 28 in India.
Design:
The new OnePlus Nord 2 5G will come with a OnePlus 9 like design with triple rear cameras. On the front, we got a punch-hole display similar to the predecessor. On the back, the device features triple cameras aligned similar to the OnePlus 9.
The power button along with the alert slider is located on the right whereas the volume rockers are on the left of the phone. It measures 8.1 mm thick and weighs around 190g. The OnePlus Nord 2 5G will come in four colours with Green-Wood, Blue Haze, Gray Sierra & Red.
Specs:
The new OnePlus Nord 2 5G will sport 6.43 inches FHD+ (2400*1080p) Super AMOLED display. It will come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
The new OnePlus Nord 2 5G will come with some interesting additions like dual speakers, Dual 5G support, Haptic 2.0, AI photography, AI display, and AI gaming modes. Further, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will feature triple rear cameras with LED flash. It comes with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with f/1.7 aperture along with an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide and a 2MP mono sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
There is a 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor for taking selfies. The new camera features like AI Resolution Boost for Instagram and Snapchat, AI Colour Boost, and AI HDR Remapping for better results.
The device gets Dual SIM with 4G LTE and 5G support, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Dual Band Wifi, USB Type-C Port, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Linear Motor Vibrator.
It comes with a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. It runs on Android 11 using ColorOS and Oxygen OS integrated UI on top. OnePlus Nord 2 5G will come with almost 7 5G bands with n1, n28, n40, n41, n77, n78, n79. Do note the seven 5G bands are for the Indian market.
