OnePlus is about to introduce the much-awaited OnePlus Nord successor with OnePlus Nord 2 5G in India next. Now ahead of the official launch we got the press renders showing the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G front look. In the past we got enough teaser confirming the display details and processor powering the device.
Now the new leak shows the official look of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G showing the frontal look of the device. As per the source, the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G will look similar to OnePlus Nord CE 5G & OnePlus Nord as it sports the same punch-hole display. So no changes spotted when compared with its predecessor.
Further, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will retain the alert slider which is located on the right along with power button. On the left, we got the volume rockers with SIM tray. Do note that the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G will still feature the same plastic chassis on the side. Further, there are rumors about the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G might ditch the Oxygen OS for ColorOS.
As per the tipster, they have spotted the OnePlus Nord 2 5G been running on the latest version of ColorOS aka ColorOS 11.3 on top of Android 11 OS. So the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G turns out to be the first OnePlus & Oppo partnership device. Yes, the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G UI will be based on integrated OxygenOS and ColorOS codebase.
Lastly the popular tipster has also hinted the camera details of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. According to the tipster, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G will feature the same primary sensor aka Sony IMX766 50MP with aperture f/1.7 one spotted on OnePlus 9 series. Not just that the device will also get support for OIS on the primary sensor. This feature might bring some improvement in low-light photography. Apart from this we cane expect 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth or macro sensor with LED flash.
