Looks like finally, the day has come to get out the official first look at the upcoming premium smartwatch from Samsung aka the Galaxy Watch4. In the past, we got the leak revealing the first look at the sports variant aka the Galaxy Watch4 Active. Now the popular tipster has leaked out the complete renders of the new Galaxy Watch4.
As per the source, the new Galaxy Watch4 will again feature a circular dial without any rotating bezels this time. In the previous leaks, we saw the upcoming smartwatch was called Galaxy Watch4 Active but this leak confirms that there will be no such model launching this year. Yes, Samsung will ditch the Active series and just launch the vanilla Galaxy Watch4.
But the design looks similar to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 which went official in late 2019. We also got some of the key specs and features of the new Galaxy Watch4 that were mentioned on the back of the watch. The new Galaxy Watch4 will come in two sizes with 40mm and 44mm dials. We can see there are two buttons been placed on the right side of the watch.
It also gets 5ATM water resistance, MIL-STD 810G durability support. Lastly, the watch also comes with GPS support, and the display is protected by Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. It will also feature a BIA sensor that helps to track your body weight which was missing on the predecessor.
The Galaxy Watch4 will come in four colors with black, silver, dark green, and rose gold finish. Lastly, the Galaxy Watch4 turns out to be the first smartwatch from the company running on the new WearOS.
