Finally, the D-day is here with a lot of expectations for the affordable 5G phone from Google and Jio we got disappointed to see just a 4G phone. Yes, Jio has now launched its cheapest smartphone in India with JioPhone Next. Sadly, the phone comes with just 4G support and no word about the 5G launch or support.
Features:
The new JioPhone Next is made by Jio in partnership with Google which runs an optimized version of Android. The new JioPhone Next comes with some attractive new features like an assistant for hands-free operation, automatic read-aloud of screen text, language translation, smart camera with AR filters, etc.
Design:
The new JioPhone Next looks similar to any other budget 4G phone with a candy bar-styled design. It comes with all plastic body features thicker bezels protecting the display which is of 16:9 aspect ratio. On the back, the new JioPhone Next comes with a single camera with an LED flash. The volume rockers and power button reside on the right of the phone.
The JioPhone Next comes with pre-installed apps like JioMart, JioCinema, Jio TV, Google services including Google Play Store support. Lastly, the company is also offering faster updates to the new JioPhone Next.
The new JioPhone Next will go on sale from Sept 10 in India. As of now no word on pricing or the specs of the new JioPhone Next.
