Looks like Motorola is back with the premium lineup of smartphones aka the Edge series. Motorola unveiled the Motorola Edge and Edge+ last year and now we are getting leaks of its successor. Previously we got the codename leaked which also revealed some of the specs of the new Motorola Edge series.
Now we got some major leaks that reveal the key specs along with some camera details of the new Motorola Edge series. As per the source, the Motorola Edge series will come with four new phones with Motorola Edge Kyoto, Berlin, Berlin NA, and PStar.
Motorola Edge Berlin and Berlin NA:
Let us begin with the new Motorola Edge Berlin and Berlin NA which are almost similar specs phones under the Edge series. Yes, the new Motorola Edge Berlin is the European variant whereas the Edge Berlin NA is for the US which may sell through Verizon.
Both the new Motorola Edge Berlin and Berlin NA will be powered by SD778G SoC which was recently announced. It is coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. Both of them come with the same 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 selfie camera.
Now here comes the change the Motorola Edge Berlin will feature a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 main shooter along with a 16MP ultra-wide or macro lens with OmniVision (OV16A10) and 8-megapixel telephoto (OV08A10) telephoto lens.
The Motorola Edge Berlin NA features 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 main shooter, 8MP Samsung S5K4H7 ultrawide/macro lens along with 2MP depth shooter with LED flash. Both of them will arrive in three colors with Emerald (Green), Stout (Brown), and White colors.
Motorola Edge Pstar:
Next is the new Motorola Edge Pstar which slightly more powerful variant than the Berlin series. The source confirmed that Motorola Edge Pstar is nothing but the previously leaked Sierra. It comes with model number Motorola XT2153 which arrives in black, blue, and white colors.
The Motorola Edge PStar is powered by SD870/SD865 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space. It comes with a 16MP OV16A1Q sensor in China and 32MP OV32B selfie camera in Europe. The new Motorola Edge PStar features a 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 sensor along with a 16MP OV16A10 ultrawide/macro lens and 8MP OV08A10 telephoto lens.
Motorola Edge Kyoto:
The last model under the Edge series is the new Motorola Edge Kyoto which is touted as the cheapest phone. The Motorola Edge Kyoto features 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 main shooter, 16MP ultra-wide or macro lens with OmniVision (OV16A10) along with a 2MP depth shooter with LED flash.
