Looks like Samsung has done some last moment changes for its cheaper 5G phone aka Galaxy A22 5G. In the past, we already got the detailed specs of the new Galaxy A22 5G & 4G. Now Samsung has quietly launched the new Galaxy A22 5G & Galaxy A22.
Design:
Both the new Galaxy A22 5G and Galaxy A22 4G will look identical in terms of design with hardly any changes. Yes, Galaxy A22 5G and Galaxy A22 4G will sport Infinity-U display on the front.
The 4G variant comes with slightly slimmer bezels when compared with 5G. Further, the Galaxy A22 5G features triple rear cameras whereas the Galaxy A22 4G with quad-cameras and LED flash. Both the models of Galaxy A22 will be available in four colors with White, Black, Purple, and Mint.
Further, the Galaxy A22 5G gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which hints IPS LCD display whereas the Galaxy A22 4G with probably in-display and might sport an AMOLED display.

The new Galaxy A22 5G comes with 6.6 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display whereas Galaxy A22 4G comes with 6.4 inches HD+ AMOLED display. Both the phones support a 90Hz refresh rate. The new Galaxy A22 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 & the Galaxy A22 4G with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. Both are coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options.
The new Galaxy A22 5G features a 48MP main sensor with a 5MP ultrawide and 2MP depth or macro sensor. The Galaxy A22 4G with the same camera setup gets an additional 2MP macro shooter. Both the devices come with a 13MP selfie shooter under the notch. The Galaxy A22 measures 8.4 mm thick and weighs 186g whereas the 5G with 9 mm thick and 203g in weight.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, 4G LTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, 3.5 mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. The Galaxy A22 5G and 4G packs the same 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charge support and runs on Android 11 OS.
