Looks like Motorola is making its comeback into the most popular Rugged smartphones segment. Yes, Motorola had tried luck in rugged smartphones with Defy series in the past and also was successful. But after Lenovo acquring Motorola we hardly saw any rugged smartphones been announced.
Now we have got new reports that suggest Motorola is all set to make comeback with its rugged smartphone soon. But this time the smartphone will not be built by Lenovo instead it’s made by the Bullitt Group. Yes, Bullitt Group is the same company that actually launched the CAT range of premium rugged smartphones globally.
Not just that the report also revealed the key specs of the new Motorola Rugged phone. As per the reports, the new Motorola phone will ship with SD662 SoC and will not feature 5G support. It will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 20W fast charging support. Apart from this nothing much about the Motorola Rugged phone is known. More details will be out in the coming weeks.
