After the Chromebook and recycled laptop, we got some new laptops powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 series. Yes, Acer has now announced the new Acer Swift X at the Acer@next event. The new Acer Swift X are heavy-duty laptops that weigh around 1.38 kgs. It’s likely made out of a magnesium alloy.

The new Acer Swift X is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 processors with dedicated RTX graphics. Some of the models will also come with new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics. With all this, the laptop is just 17.9 mm thick. The Acer Swift X comes with up to 16GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD.

Further, the Acer Swift X sports a 14-inch FHD display with an 85.7% screen-to-body ratio. It also gets a 300-nit brightness rating with a 100% sRGB color gamut. Acer also includes 59 0.3mm blades and two D6 copper heat pipes to keep the laptop performance smooth and cool. It also gets an air inlet keyboard, which expels 8-10% more heat than a product with a regular keyboard.

The Acer Swift X is coming to North America in June starting at $899.99, and EMEA this summer starting at €899.
