Oppo has finally launched the next premium lineup with the Reno6 series in China today. The new Oppo Reno6 series will include three new smartphones with Reno6, Reno6 Pro & Reno6 Pro Plus. All the three phone does come with 5G support and also features higher refresh rate display.
Oppo Reno6 & Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G:
Design:
The new Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G & Oppo Reno6 looks different this time with a scratch-resistant body that comes with an all-metal design. From the images, the new Oppo Reno6 comes with slight design changes when compared with its predecessor. Yes, the new Oppo Reno6 comes with iPhone 12 styled chassis probably made out of metal.
On the back, the new Oppo Reno6 comes with vertically aligned triple rear cameras with LED flash. It gets a shiny finish on the back which reminds us of the sea blue color. On the bottom, we got the speaker mesh with a USB Type-C port and no 3.5 mm audio jack. The power key along with volume buttons on the right. Lastly, the listing shows the Oppo Reno6 will come in three colors with “Summer Blue”, “Night Sea”, and “Galaxy Dream”.
Oppo Reno6 Pro too which looks slightly different when compared with base Oppo Reno6. The only change is in terms of display and chassis which are curved when compared with flat edges on the Reno6. Yes, the Oppo Reno6 Pro somewhat reminds us of the recently launched OnePlus 9 Pro. The Oppo Reno6 Pro comes in three colors with Summer Harumi, Galaxy Dream, and Night Sea colors. The Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G measures 7.6 mm thick & weighs 177g whereas the Oppo Reno6 with 7.8mm and weighs 180g.

The new Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G will sport 6.55 inches FHD+ 3D Curved AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rates whereas the Oppo Reno5 with 6.43 inches same as the Pro. Both the devices will come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The new Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G & Oppo Reno6 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC & MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage options.
The Oppo Reno6 Pro comes with a 64MP main Sony sensor with f/1.7 aperture, EIS support, 8MP 120° ultra-wide camera with dual 2MP depth, and macro sensor with LED flash. The Reno6 comes with triple cameras similar to OppoReno6 Pro but misses the 2Mp macro sensor. The Oppo Reno6 Pro 5G & Oppo Reno6 comes with a single 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G (Dual Band support) and VoLTE, Wifi-6, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, and USB Type-C port. It features in-display fingerprint scanner support. The Oppo Reno6 and Oppo Reno6 Pro come with a 4300/4500 mAh battery with 65W Super Flash charging support. Both the device runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11 on top.

The Oppo Reno6 5G cost 2799 Yuan (Rs.31,900/-) for 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB at 3199 Yuan (Rs.36,500/-) in China. The Reno6 Pro 5G with 8GB+128GB at 3499 Yuan (Rs.39,900/-) and 12GB+256GB at 3799 Yuan (Rs.43,500/-) in China.

Oppo has announced the new Oppo Reno6 Pro+ which is the top-end flagship of the company. The new Oppo Reno6 Pro+ will arrive in two colors one Moon Sea and Summer Harumi color. It looks identical to Oppo Reno6 Pro this time but with some different internals.
