Looks like finally, we got some sort of confirmation for the much-awaited Google upcoming Pixel smartphones. In the past, the popular tipster shared the first look of the new Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro. We even got the camera details of the higher-end flagship Pixel 6 Pro. Now we have a new leak that confirms the list of Pixel devices launching this year.
As per the report, they have spotted the codenames of the upcoming Pixel smartphones through the latest Android 12 OS Beta 1 update. The source confirmed that all the codenames were branded under Made By Google and will launch later this year. The list of Pixel devices includes Barbet, Oriole, Raven & Passport.
As per the source, the new Pixel 5a 5G will be launching this year which is codenamed Barbet along with the model number G4S1M. Further, the listed model numbers of the Pixel 6 series are Japanese variant which is codenamed as Oriole, Raven and model number GR1YH & GF5KQ.
The last smartphone and the most-awaited flagship aka the first Foldable Pixel which is codenamed as Passport and comes with model number GpQ72 are also scheduled to launch this year. Looks like finally, we have big competition with Samsung with Google’s own foldable Pixel coming this fall. The source also states that the mention of Pixel Foldable doesn’t necessarily mean that it could end up launching this year.
