After announcing the launch details of the next mid-range smartphone from Honor aka the Play 5. Now the company has started to spill the beans of the upcoming Honor Play 5 through its official teasers. In the past, we got the alleged press renders of the new Honor Play 5.
Now Honor officially reveals the camera details of the new Honor Play 5 on Weibo. As per the post, the new Honor Play 5 will arrive with new 64MP quad-rear cameras with LED flash. Sadly, no word about the remaining three camera sensors but we expect it could be the 8MP ultra-wide along with dual 2MP depth plus macro sensor.
Further, the company also mentions that the new Honor Play 5 will also be super slim in terms of thickness as it measures 7.46 mm thick. More details will be revealed in the coming days as the new Honor Play 5 is scheduled for May 18 launch in China.

Previous leaks revealed that Honor Play 5 will sport a waterdrop display on the front with slimmer bezels. On the back, the new Honor Play 5 features an iPhone-like quad-camera setup under a square-shaped camera module with LED flash. It features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
As per leaks, the new Honor Play 5 will sport 6.53 inches FHD+ OLED display on the front. The device is packed with a lower 3800 mAh battery with 66W fast charge support. Honor Play 5 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC along with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. It weighs 179g and runs on Android 11 OS out of the box.
