Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi now enters into the gaming segment with its first Gaming phone aka Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. Yes, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is finally launched in China and might soon land in India. There are various leaks suggesting that Redmi K40 Gaming Edition might get relaunched in India under the POCO brand.
The new Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will arrive in Black, Silver, and White colors and there is also a limited Bruce Lee Special Edition. The phone will go on sale from April 30 in China.

Redmi K40 Gaming Edition comes with an almost similar design as the Redmi K40 series and the only difference is in terms of processor. There is also an additional feature which the K40 misses with the new magnetic dual-trigger design to give a next-level gaming experience. The advantages of magnetic triggers can effectively reduce the wear-out in daily use, with a lifespan of up to 1.5 million taps.
The new Redmi K40 Gaming Edition comes with a 3D curved frosted glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It measures 8.3 mm thick and weighs 203 grams.
