Acer announced its first laptop with Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G compute platform in India with Acer Swift 7. Yes, the Acer Swift 7 is the first convertible to come with 5G support out of the box. It will support both mmWave and sub-6 GHz 5G frequencies.

Acer launched its most expensive and world’s slimmest laptop with Acer Swift 7. It is slim and measures 15.9 mm thick. It is made out of a magnesium-aluminum alloy body and weighs around 1.4 Kg. Acer Swift 7 comes in a single color with Black.

Acer Swift 7 comes with 14 inches FHD+ touchscreen display protected by Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass. The Acer Swift 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 5G compute platform with Kryo 495 Octa-core CPU with 8GB DDR4 RAM and 512GB UFS storage. It comes with a 720p web camera for making video calls. It comes with Adreno 685 GPU for graphics. There is also support for the stylus as it comes with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

The connectivity option includes a 5G, 4G LTE modem, 2x USB 3.1 Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, Wifi 6, Touchpad with fingerprint scanner, and 3.5 mm audio port. The laptop will have a battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge as per the company and runs on Windows 10 Pro.
