After almost a year of the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold2, we are still waiting for the successor. Previously we had got few leaks revealing some key details of the new Galaxy Z Fold3. Now we have some reliable info coming straight from the Chinese tipster which reveals some of the key specs of the foldable.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3

As per the tipster, this year Samsung’s foldable aka Galaxy Z Fold3 will weigh slightly less when compared with the predecessor. Yes, the new Galaxy Z Fold3 is likely to weigh 13g lighter than Galaxy Z Fold2. So we can expect a much lighter form factor as it will ship with a smaller capacity battery this time. Not just that the weight reduction one more reason would be the new titanium or carbon fiber frame which are lighter than steel and aluminum.

Further, the Galaxy Z Fold3 will also include a water-resistant feature that was missing in last year’s foldable. The new Galaxy Z Fold3 is now confirmed to be powered by SD888 SoC and not the Exynos chipset. It might ship with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options. Lastly, the source also expects that Galaxy Z Fold3 could cost the same as the Galaxy Z Fold2.
