Samsung is back with another M-series phone for Indian markets but this time it is a powerful 5G handset. Yes, after the success of Galaxy M51 we now finally getting another replacement with 5G support soon in India with Galaxy M42 5G. In the past, we got reports about Samsung Galaxy M42 5G could soon land in India under Rs.25,000/- segment.

Now finally Samsung has officially listed the Galaxy M42 5G on Amazon India which also reveals the launch date and key specs. As per the listing, the new Galaxy M42 5G will remind us of the last year launched Galaxy A42 5G. Yes, the Galaxy M42 5G is nothing but rebranded Galaxy A42 5G with hardly any changes.

From the teaser, the Galaxy M42 5G will sport an Infinity-U display on the front with slimmer bezels. On the back, the new Galaxy M42 5G features a square-shaped camera module carrying quad-cameras with LED flash. The Galaxy M42 5G might become the first device to ship with an in-display fingerprint scanner as it sports an AMOLED panel.

The next teaser image reveals that Galaxy M42 5G will be powered by SD750G SoC and might be coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Lastly, the teaser page also mentions that Galaxy M42 5G will come with Samsung Pay and Knox support.

The new Galaxy M42 5G will land in India on April 28 at 12 noon and will be exclusive to Amazon.
