Galaxy Quantum2

Samsung quietly introduces the successor to Galaxy Quantum in its hometown today. Yes, Samsung finally unveils the mid-range flagship Galaxy Quantum2 in South Korea. The new Galaxy Quantum2 will soon be relaunching as Galaxy A82 in few markets later this month. The new Galaxy Quantum2 will arrive in White, Gray, and Light Violet colors.

The new Galaxy Quantum2 will look similar to any other Samsung phone with no rotating cameras this time. On the back, the Galaxy Quantum2 will feature a typical Galaxy S20 FE-like camera arrangement. The new Galaxy Quantum2 measures 8.1 mm thick and weighs 176g. It gets a unique quantum random number generation (QRNG) chipset to protect from cyber-attacks.

The Galaxy Quantum2 sports 6.7 inches WQHD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device uses the same display found on Galaxy S21 Ultra. It is powered by SD855+ SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also gets a microSD card slot for further storage expansion.

It features a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture coupled with 12MP ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture and 123-degrees FOV with 5MP macro sensor (f/2.4) and LED flash. It features a 10MP selfie shooter the same one found on Galaxy S20. It gets in-display fingerprint scanner support.

All this packed with a 4500 mAh battery and come with 25W fast charging support. It will run on Android 11 with Samsung One UI 3.1 on top. The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE, 5G, and VoLTE, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, NFC, FM Radio, Bluetooth 5.0.

The Galaxy Quantum2 will set you back with a price tag of 699,600 won (Rs.46,700/-) in South Korea.
